a day in the life (part 4)

3:00: Brush my teeth, put on makeup, change my shirt. Get the kids in the car, drive to the post office to mail a few letters before driving to the dentist. Arrive 5 minutes early.

4:15: All four children's teeth are cleaned, next appointment is scheduled for September. Drive home. See that my husband's car is not in the driveway. He was supposed to be home at 4:00 so we could go for a run together. Call his office - located 30 minutes away. He answers the phone and says he'll be leaving in a few minutes. Small scale conniption fit ensues. "What the ..." followed by a "You said..." ending with a "Well you better..."

4:30: Brainstorming dinner. Plan to take the kids on a quick bike ride around the block while I run. By the time we arrive home, Charlie will hopefully be here and the late afternoon cranks (kids and ME) will have dissipated.

  1. I am so sorry to be laughing, but I practically pee'd my pants when I read about the phone call to Charlie at 4:15. I only have one to contend with, and when I make that call and hubby answers the phone on the other end conniption fits ensue here as well ;)

  3. Okay, you're writing about what you were doing at 4:00in the afternoon and I was ready to throw in the towel when I was reading what you were doing at 7:00am.

It's so much easier to raise a dog. This is my morning......Wake up. Feed her. Give her fresh water. Let her out. Give her a treat and a pat on the head. Leave for work.

    The End.
    (LOL)

    You are amazing.

    XOXOXO
