In case you thought I was kidding.
Seeing as this was a Mother's Day cake, I had to be a good mother and wait until Charlie took the kids out on an errand before I had a piece because I wouldn't want them eating chocolate cake for breakfast. This has nothing to do with my inability to share. I'm just trying to establish the best eating habits I can for our children.
"Yes, the cake is all gone. But children, I ate it because I love you."
I can only hope that all mothers love their children as much I love mine.
the cake looks amazing, but with orange juice???? wheres the milk?
ReplyDeleteA glass of milk with breakfast?! No way - I'm all about the OJ!!
ReplyDeleteWatch out Pioneer Woman, Jen is getting reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy good at taking pictures of scruptious food.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the previous commenter- OJ and chocolate cake????
ha ha - that's what I call a good lookin' breakfast!
ReplyDeleteYum... that cake looks fantastic! And I am so in awe of your ability to instill good eating habits in your children. It takes a strong woman to love them that much!
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks good! Great breakfast!
ReplyDeleteI'll admit to having cake for breakfast at times - didn't Bill Cosby have a comedy skit about feeding his kids cake for breakfast? It has milk, eggs, flour, etc - what's wrong with it??? I do have to agree with the comment about the orange juice - it just do NOT go with chocolate!
