Rivaling only the beaches - Sea World is a top destination for out of town visitors.
With the sting rays...
And polar bears ...
The Dolphin Show ...
Budweiser Clydesdale Horses...
World famous Shamu Show...
And Shark Encounter...
Sea World is a definite crowd pleaser in San Diego.
Our children have met some of their favorite Sesame Street characters at Sea World...
Ventured in to the world of amusement park rides...
And tackled big water roller coasters.
Because we were members of Sea World, we came and went as we pleased. Usually, we'd show up on mid-week mornings when the park was virtually empty.
And other days, we'd stay so long, we'd be thankful for the motorized scooters that would get us from point A to point B.
We're really going to miss Sea World.
But I can't help but wonder ...
If Sea World is going to miss us, too.
Your children have sure had some wonderful up close & personal experiences there at Seaworld that others can only dream of experiencing! I can definitely understand how it will be missed! On the bright side you could always take a long weekend trip to Florida's Seaworld every now & then :o) It won't be quite the same but at least it's an option!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all those wonderful memories with us. I've been to San Diego a couple times and it brought back lots of memories. I am sure when you get to Virginia there will be more memories for you and your family. Enjoy them all and have a safe trip. Karen from Ill.
ReplyDeleteSea World WILL miss you.......be safe in your travels!
ReplyDeleteHave you not watched the movie The Cove yet?

wishing your family a safe and adventure filled trip across the US. Thinking of all of you and praying for you as you prepare for this huge transition.
ReplyDeleteps -- loving the San Diego series! you are living a great life.
Hmmm, is it weird that *I'll* miss your living in San Diego?? I think I found it oddly comforting reading about your lovely weather on crummy grey days here in Germany (though our weather has been distinctly San Diego-like these past few weeks).
ReplyDeleteWhatever. I wish you all a smooth relocation and lots of luck and heck, even fun! Dh and I have moved nine times in the last 19 years, most of those moves with 1,2,3 and 4 kids, but the BIG one was the move from WA state to Germany many years ago. It's sad and exciting all at the same time. I can really relate to how you're feeling.
You're making me miss San Diego already...
