Closets, before ...

And after.

Pardon the picture quality ... the cost for repairing my Nikon after it's very unfortunate drop on asphalt by a little girl who is lucky to be so adorable ... is actually more than the cost of the camera. So until such time that I have a replacement - all pictures are courtesy my iPhone which doesn't do so well in low light.

These closets are so unbelievable nice - low light pictures don't come close to capturing their niceness. When we were looking to put in an offer on this house, one of the biggest downfalls was the size of the closets (and bathrooms) which were SO MUCH SMALLER than our closets (and bathrooms) in California. But what we've since convinced ourselves of is how many clothes does a person really need, and how much time are they spending in a bathroom?

In my opinion, the builders of 50+ years ago really put the "space" emphasis in the right place. I'd take larger bedrooms and living spaces over large closets and bathrooms any day of the week. Besides now that we've got these closet organizers, the shelves are adjustable and I suddenly have more room than I know what to do with.

Alright, that's not entirely true ... but it's so much better than I ever thought possible.

Charlie says it's like living at the GAP where everything is so perfectly organized. I said, "That's right. NOW DON'T MESS IT UP."
