our new morning soundtrack

Our house is always filled with music. In the morning, as soon as we wake up, we'll turn on the stereo and throughout the day, we'll listen to an assortment of music. Classical. Rock. Blues.

A couple years ago, I posted a video of the girls dancing to what was then, our favorite music to start the day. While I don't have a video to accompany these photos, here are a few pictures that William (my budding photographer) snapped off as Elizabeth and I got up and got ready to start our day, today.

Can you guess what song we were listening to?

It's no wonder our children have such awesome dance moves.

They are learning from a master.

My singing isn't so bad, either.

Although from the expression on Elizabeth's face (and Carolyn who is belting from the other side of the camera, "MOMMY! STOP SINGING!!") my children might tend to disagree.
