Another interruption ... a few hours later

Elizabeth's got it.

Charlie thinks he's got it, too.

Charlie is sitting on the couch with Carolyn on one side - Elizabeth on the other. William is laying on the floor in the middle of the living room with a sheet beneath him. There are plastic bowls and towels everywhere.

I've changed my shirt at least four times today, Charlie's changed his twice. The babies have each been changed three times. I'm stepping away from the sick ward for a moment because I don't know if the nausea I feel is because I am getting this virus also - or if I am thinking about how I will handle this situation.

One of me + 3 terribly sick babies + 1 high potential terribly sick husband

This is a nightmare.

Mom, come back!!!

  7. Um...do you think this could be some freaky computer blog virus? Because just hours after I read your "interruptions" my daughter was up all night being sick to her stomach. And now, either I am extremely paranoid or I am getting it - because I am feeling a little queasy....So as much as I enjoy your posts, I am blaming you...
At least my daughter is 12 and probbably much easier to take care of than 3 two year olds. Although last night, she didn't have a bucket when she got sick the first time......

  8. Ohhh. I am so sorry. Last year we all 5 got the rotavirus. It was horrible. I got it last, but I literally could not move. Call your help in quickly if you start feeling ill....I laid on the floor in the middle of my toddlers, unable to move and bawling for 2 hours waiting for help to arrive. NOT. FUN.
    Hoping you fight it!

  11. Oh no Jen! This is not what I wanted to find when I revisited your blog... nothing worse than not feeling well! Yuck!

I'm glad to be back and be able to catch up with you and your great family once again. I have also started my blog up again, the original one so if you ever get a chance...

  12. HOLY MOLEY Jen, I just finished reading your blog about that terrable time with your sick babies and believe me, I'm adding you to my nightly prayers and praying for a quick recovery time for you all. I didn't see one mention of the FLU, one of the many that must have landed at your house.
