paging my Coleman cousins...

So, we moved last year and in the course of moving, we canceled our e-mail accounts which were linked to our phone service. And although I sent out a note to everyone in my address book notifying them of our move, I forgot to print out a copy of my address book and have lost virtually everyone's e-mail. I'm sure there is some way this information could be recovered, but I'm technically inept.

The point is ... I NEED TO REACH MY COUSIN REGINA.

Who, it appears, is not on Facebook.

(Not on FACEBOOK?!)

Today, I was informed that I'll be participating at a team meeting in Boston, the third week of May. I was also informed that I have been nominated as the Social Coordinator for that meeting. Which means, I need to come up with something fun for my team to do the evenings of Monday, May 16 and Tuesday, May 17.

The first thing I did (after a little jig!) was pop over to the Red Sox website and lo and behold, the Sox are playing at home on Tuesday night. AND, best of all, it looks like there are tickets available!

So my first question - to my lovely cousin Regina... where would you recommend we sit to see the game?

Second question... what do you think the likelihood is that we could pull together a Coleman brouhaha the weekend of the 21-22? This was the last Coleman Family Day reunion SIX years ago. None of us are getting any younger, so I suggest we reconvene, STAT.

(Hey! What's that lady in the yellow shirt doing? Nursing a baby while taking a group shot?! What would Nana Coleman ever say?!)

If my memory serves me correctly, Uncle Bernie's birthday is May 20. Perhaps if we plant the seed now, we can convince our southern Coleman contingency to join us. Since Aunt Grace's birthday is May 12, we could plan for a big BIRTHDAY celebration.

Ann Marie, if we were to commission you to make a birthday cake for Aunt Grace and Uncle Bernie, what might it look like? I'm thinking a Marine planting an American flag on top of a big yellow Cadillac stuck in a sea of Godiva chocolate...

Lisa, are you game for a road trip to Beantown? We would love to see you there. We'd also really appreciate having a bona fide homeschooler in our midst since we're planning to pull the kids out of school for their second full week, this quarter. While I don't want to downplay the importance of our children missing school, it's half day kindergarten. Besides, on our trip to Massachusetts, we're planning to take them to the Harvard University library.

I wonder if they have story time?
