Vomiting every 10-15 minutes for around nine hours straight. Sweating. Abdominal cramping (probably from puking my guts out). Wanting to die. Had it all. It was awful. Not that I hope your little ones have food poisoning, but here's hoping they have food poisoning. That way the rest of your family is spared. *fingers crossed*Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24756113.post-82361697442820343622009-05-02T14:04:00.000-05:002009-05-02T14:04:00.000-05:00You may want to go ahead and take them to the doct...You may want to go ahead and take them to the doctor. Many food poisonings are short lived, but many will continue for days and days. My cousin was sick for two weeks when she was diagnosed with Salmonella about three years ago.

If in the end you do actually think they were
"poisoned" by the apples, you should keep the bags you still have and place a call to your family doctor.

When my cousin was diagnosed with her bout of salmonella the CDC was contacted by their doctor by law and they went and inspected the restaurant where it was believed she ate a touchy burger. Luckily with her it seemed to be an isolated incident, but who knows how many people have gotten sick from the apples. The more reported, the more likely something will be done about it.

Of course this is all just IF they were sickened by the apples.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17378832548853576521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24756113.post-51897776573339189542009-05-02T13:50:00.000-05:002009-05-02T13:50:00.000-05:00Wow, I'm so sorry!!! I hope it's just food poisoning, but it must be pretty alarming for everyone out in San Diego who's kids and elderly are getting sick right now, considering this whole "Swine Flu" hype that's going around. We live about 6 hours North & have been advised NOT to go to San Diego for anything right now. I know it's effecting other places/states too, but it's scary stuff!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24756113.post-59641785705615387512009-05-02T13:26:00.000-05:002009-05-02T13:26:00.000-05:00Don't throw away the apples - take them to a healt...Don't throw away the apples - take them to a health authority and get them tested for salmonella so it can be proved or disproved and hopefully save others from the same thing! Kids should be tested for the same so treatment can begin. Originally the juice was sold as not pasteurized, but since a bout of salmonella they now "flash" pasteurize. A month ago Sheppie (3yrs) discovered the thermostat control in the refrigerator. Most of it was cool to the touch, but still threw almost everything out....
I'm so sorry!
